Ex-MP and Sitting MP involved in a war of nerves

MYSURU: Former MP A H Vishwanath on Friday took strong objection to statement made by sitting MP Pratap Simha who had termed him a “ big liar” and said in fact it was Pratap Simha who got allotted a site from MUDA under “ G “ category for his wife by falsely claiming that he is a resident of Mysuru. This happened much before he became a parliament member, he added “ This indicates that it is in Pratap Simha’s blood to tell lies” he alleged and challenged Pratap Simha to make public why he quit the job of a reporter cum columnist in a Kannada news paper Vijaya Karnataka .If Simha discloses the truth , people of Mysuru –Kodagu will come to know Pratap Simha’s personality as a journalist and Lok Sabha member . ” Pratap Simha who wrote columns under the name bettale jagattu( naked world) will himself get exposes if he reveals the truth about his journalistic career” he added.
Revealing from documents on how much funds he brought to Mysuru as MP , Vishwanath said JNNURM project was a big project which helped in taking up various projects related to city and its people. “ I regularly reviewed JNNURM project works and 135 official meetings were held , some of them were presided by chief minister himself” he pointed out and wanted to know what happened to Mysuru-Kushalnagar rail project which was surveyed during his period as Mysuru-Kodagu MP . Sadananda Gowda as railway minister told a lie and claimed that one day he had a dream of his wife going in a rail to Kodagu, he recollected and said this is the height of falsehood being spread by BJP leaders on various developmental projects.
“ I want to ask Simha that Narendra Modi during his electioneering in Mysuru claimed that he will develop Mysuru on the lines of Paris to attract tourists, but prime minister not even mentioned a word about this promise when he visited France last week” he disclosed terming BJP leaders as “big liars”.
Simha who came out with a reply to Vishwanath’s allegations on the “big liar”issue in the evening only referred about JNNURM project and alleged Vishwanath making false claims on the project and funds sanctioned for it. However , he did not mentioned a word about other allegations made by Vishwanath against him .
